Lead Assistant Teacher works collaboratively with curriculum planning and implementation, and documentation of learning experiences with the Curriculum Director. The Classroom Teacher also works collaboratively with the Child Development Center for Learning & Research faculty, staff, students, and families to support amiable partnerships in a learning community.
- Experience in child care, child development, or early childhood education.- Ability to work collaboratively in curriculum planning and implementation.- Ability to assist in documentation of learning experiences.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills a must.
- Degree in child development, early childhood education or related field or equivalent training and/or experience.- Supervised experience in working with young children in groups.- Teaching experience.- Experience working with social constructivist, inquiry-based approaches to education and Reggio Emilia Approach to early childhood education.
