Assistant Teacher works collaboratively with classroom teachers in planning and implementing curriculum and documenting children’s learning experiences, and participates in Child Development Center’s professional activities.
- Experience in child care, child development, or early childhood education.- Ability to work collaboratively in curriculum planning and implementation.- Ability to assist in documentation of learning experiences.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Degree in child development, early childhood education or related field or equivalent training and/or experience.- Supervised experience in working with young children in groups.- Teaching experience.
Employee Category: Hourly Wage Staff, limited to 1500 hrs/year
