Job Description Summary:
Maryville University is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor of Teacher Education/Director of Graduate Literacy Programs to begin August 2018. This is a tenure track position. Rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful candidate should be able to teach in a variety of areas within the teacher preparation program. Teaching areas include, but are not limited to, undergraduate literacy education (K-12). The successful candidate should also be able to direct and teach courses in Maryville's graduate literacy (Master's) program. The position also involves participation in partner school activities. The successful candidate must be committed to fostering a culturally diverse atmosphere for faculty, staff and students.
