Â· In the Mama Lere Hearing School @ Vanderbilt, you will work with a staff that includes 7 teachers of the deaf, as well 5 hearing and speech technicians. The department helps SLPs, OTs perform their respective job functions with ease. For additional information, please visit:
Â· In this rewarding role as PRN Teacher of the Deaf II, you will be implementing lesson plans the classroom or outreach teacher has designed to support listening and spoken language for preschoolers who are deaf or hard of hearing. Other responsibilities may include collaboration in lesson and activities planning with an awesome school team, and effective parent communication.
Â· Bachelorâs Degree
Â· TN Dept of Education Professional Teaching License w/Certification in the area of Deaf & Hard of Hearing
Â· 3-5 yearsâ experience teaching in early childhood or ealy intervention programs
Â· As needed, between the hours of 7:30AM â 4:30PM, Mon-Fri
