Instruct ED 3340 – Math Concepts for Teachers, a three credit hour undergraduate lecture course.Course is designed to teach prospective classroom teachers to analyze problem situations, create solution strategies, solve problems, and justify his/her thinking. Students will construct concepts of number, patterns, geometry, measurement probability, and statistics through the use of exploration an investigation.
An earned graduate degree appropriate to the academic discipline and a record of productivity and professional achievement.
Preferred Education and Experience:
A Ph.D. in Education or a secondary school teaching field and ten years of experience in an appropriate elementary or secondary teaching field is preferred.
