We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Per Diem Sr Teacher. In this role, the successful candidate will be a teacher for the NYU Summer Program for Kids (SPK), held at The College of New Rochelle, New Rochelle, NY, from June 24 through August 9, 2013. The SPK is a therapeutic, recreational/educational day program, where prescribed behavior modification techniques are utilized to meet the special needs of 7-11 year old children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD). The position provides a teacher with a valuable opportunity to receive training and gain experience working with children in a supportive, therapeutic setting. As a teacher in our program, you will learn behavioral strategies to help children improve their behavior and overall performance, receive ongoing supervision and participate in the development of individualized programs for the children.
To qualify you must have a NYS Certification. Masters Degree. Prior teaching experience..
