Study Tours by Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, seeks EFL Teachers for a temporary summer position to teach EFL to international high school students at California State University in East Bay, CA. The program uses an ESL curriculum, but instructors must be prepared to supplement with lessons based on the itinerary of the program and American culture.
Session dates, which are subject to change, are: Session 1: July 2 – July 16 Session 2: July 16 – July 30
Classes run from 9 am to 12 pm and or 1 pm to 4 pm with a maximum of 30 contact hours per session. Individual must be available for entire session, including some Saturdays, and may be hired for multiple sessions. Schedule is subject to change to meet the demands of the program. Class size is approximately 15 students.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Master’s degree and ESL/EFL teaching experience preferred.
