Bing Nursery School is part of the School of Humanities and Sciences at Stanford University and serves as a laboratory for the Department of Psychology. The department established the school in 1966 to serve as a site for research and training in child development. It provides high quality educational programs to over 500 young children (2-5 years) each year, their parents, students in training, and research and teaching faculty.
Supervise, plan and implement educational experiences for pre-school children with a child development focus in a laboratory school setting to support faculty research and undergraduate instruction in developmental psychology and early education. Coordinate with multiple researchers and supervise, guide, mentor and grade undergraduate students. Manage the parent and educator programs, including parent seminars, coffee talks, educator seminars and the educator summer session. Plan, develop and implement curriculum; identify and market to potential outside institutions/organizations; work with early childhood educators; mentor, train and provide professional development for Bing teachers.
Preference will be given to current Bing Nursery School teachers.

Education & Experience:
Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or related field. Supervisory training and courses. Demonstrated excellence in supervisory experience. Four years of experience teaching in the field of Early Childhood Education. Experience teaching in a laboratory school highly desirable.
