Position Overview :
Partner with a regular faculty member to collaboratively teach a 3-credit course in the areas of Human Resources, Leadership, Strategy, Organizational Behavior, Information Systems, Operations, Supply Chain Management and other related areas. Executive Co-teachers would complement the skills and expertise of the regular faculty member in a variety of ways including bringing new skills and pragmatic perspective to class meetings, supporting case analyses where applicable, facilitating speaker events in class, and engaging in other ways as deemed synergistic by the regular faculty member.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaboratively teach a well-organized course that clearly reflects the course objectives as well as expectations, jointly conduct well-prepared class sessions that effectively deliver the course content and engages students, administer meaningful and relevant assignments, and grade students’ work with an emphasis on student development. Serve as an executive in residence for students, providing additional context, mentoring, and connections to the business community.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Teaching experience in the relevant area at the university level or professional experience, particularly in entrepreneurship is strongly preferred.
