About the Position:
EarlyChildhood Educators at the Vanderbilt Child & Family Center provideessential nurture to young learners and implement a play-based curriculum thatinforms a rich and vibrant learning environment for children ages 6 weeksthrough 5 years. You will work with inspiring colleagues and engaged parents tosupport children's cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development;design hands-on, sensory-rich activities; document milestones in portfolios;and make their learning visible through classroom display. Our licensed childcare center offers a program founded on social constructivist pedagogy, theimportant understanding that we construct our knowledge in relationship to oneanother.
About the Child & FamilyCenter:
TheChild & Family Center offers quality early childhood education and care forthe children of Vanderbilt Faculty, staff, and students. The program serveschildren age infants (6 weeks) to five years old. The Centers are licensed bythe Tennessee Department of Human Services.
