Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of the Early Childhood Preschool Assistant Teacher is to provide responsive care and education to young children while working in a teaching team.
Duties of the position include:
Successful experience in Appalachian State University early childhood programs.
At least two years of preschool teaching experience in a licensed child care facility.
Associates degree in early childhood education, child development or closely related field or working towards obtaining degree with at least fifty credit hours earned.
