The Gladys W. and David H. Patton College of Education – Child Development Center at Ohio University invites applicants for a Master Teacher position. Candidates should have experience teaching children ages birth to 5 years old, as well as preferred experience working with professional interns (student teachers). The successful applicant will bring strong qualifications, be reliable and possess a positive attitude.

Evaluation: The Director and Assistant Director evaluate the Master Teachers annually. These evaluations are written and discussed with each staff member. These evaluations are based on the professional development plan, parent feedback and can include classroom observations.
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; Experience working with and supervising young children from diverse backgrounds;Successful completion of FBI and BCII background checks and medical exam.
Experience supervising Professional Interns and lab students from diverse backgrounds; Experience with Reggio Emilia Philosophy.
