The Gladys W. and David H. Patton College of Education – Child Development Center at Ohio University invites applicants for a Substitute Master Teacher position to cover the leave period of a current employee. Candidates should have experience teaching children ages birth to 5 years old, as well as preferred experience working with professional interns (student teachers). The successful applicant will bring strong qualifications, be reliable and possess a positive attitude.

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field;
Experience working with and supervising young children from diverse backgrounds;
Successful completion of FBI and BCII background checks and medical exam.
Experience supervising professional interns and lab students from diverse backgrounds;
Experience with Reggio Emilia Philosophy.
