The Dayton Regional STEM School seeks a highly motivated and effective mild/moderate intervention specialist to join an existing school faculty and staff for the 2019-2020 school year.
Bachelor’s degreeCurrent teacher licensure as mild-moderate Intervention Specialist or qualifies for alternative license prior to the start of the 2019-2020 school year.Knowledge of special education

Essential Functions and percent of time::
Plan and deliver instruction to identified students in the classroom, in small group or 1-on-1 as needed to help students meet IEP goals- 45% Write IEPs and attend IEP meetings – 20%Assess students progress toward learning targets using a variety of creative methods – 10%Collaborate with other faculty – 10%Conference with students, parents and colleagues regularly – 10%Attend scheduled grade level, department and faculty meetings as scheduled – 5%
Length of contract is one year contingent upon funding.
