Westminster Conservatory, the community music school of Westminster College of the Arts of Rider University, seeks part-time violin teachers for the fall of 2019. Interested candidates must have previous violin teaching experience, and must demonstrate an ability and willingness to adapt their teaching styles appropriately to a variety of students with a consideration for level of advance, age, and interest. May include paid opportunities to act as concert master for Westminster Community Orchestra concerts during the 2019-2020 season.
Locations: Westminster Conservatory located on the Westminster Choir College campus, Princeton, NJ. Possible openings at Conservatory extension sites in Lawrenceville, South Brunswick, and/or Yardley, PA.
Minimum of bachelor's degree in the area of instruction is required. masters degree preferred. Training in violin and/or viola pedagogy, music education, and/or Suzuki preferred.
