The person in this role will coordinate the curriculum, instruction, and accreditation functions related to the TE 150 course, which is offered through the EPET program. This will include teaching multiple sections of the course, scheduling and supervision of TAs, acting as liaison to teacher preparation programs to ensure that the course is meeting program needs, and data collection and reporting for accreditation efforts run by the college of education. From Fall 2020 – Summer 2021 the person in this position will be responsible for redesigning the course in light of changes made to multiple teacher certification programs within the college.
Experience teaching and developing curriculum in K-12 and higher education environments.
Prior teaching experience in a K-12 setting and advanced graduate coursework in Educational Psychology, Teacher Education, or related field, prior experience coordinating multiple sections of a large course and gathering data for accreditation purposes, commitment to working as part of a team and excellent communication and leadership skills.
