The Peabody Preparatory is pleased to announce an Adjunct Jazz Guitar teaching position in the Jazz Department at the Peabody Preparatory, a division of the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD commencing September 1, 2021. Candidates should be experienced in teaching jazz guitar students of all ages and levels (beginner to advanced) as part of the Peabody Preparatory's growing Jazz Department. Candidates should be comfortable teaching in private and group class formats and online and in-person modalities. Candidates are expected to assist with end-of-semester performances, attend faculty meetings, substitute teach as needed, and perform with other jazz faculty as needed. In addition, to being an active participant within the Jazz Department, the successful candidate will also work closely with the Guitar Department Chair as part of the Guitar Department as needed for performances, festivals, and teaching.
