Job Duties:
The School of Music seeks to fill a tenure-track, nine-month appointment to begin August 2022. Primary responsibilities will be to teach, recruit and maintain an undergraduate and graduate PERCUSSION studio (jazz and classical), direct the percussion ensemble and possible additional duties based on the interests of the applicant and the needs of the School. The successful candidate will be expected to continue an active performing career, both outside of the university and at the School of Music. The successful candidate will demonstrate high potential for recruitment of both jazz and classical students and will serve on relevant university, college, School of Music and departmental committees.

Minimum Education/Experience:
Master's degree in music required. Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Applicants must demonstrate evidence of excellence in teaching and performing in jazz and classical styles including but not limited to solo, chamber music, and/or large ensemble performances.
