Position Summary
Assist regular teacher in planning and conducting a high quality, child centered preschool program.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists the lead teacher in carrying out lesson plans for the day.
- Fosters creativity and a positive self image in children.
- Provides a safe and nurturing atmosphere for children.
- Encourages social interactions and problem solving between children.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in education, child development or other related field.
- Previous successful experience with young children.
Required Qualifications
- Working towards a degree in education, child development or other related field.
- REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Worker registration/Background screening with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

Salary Range
$15.60 - $20.83 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
