Work in classroom with 1 Lead Teacher, 1 Associate Teacher, and up to 10 students
Supervise student teachers and college student assistants
Facilitate developmentally appropriate experiences and care-giving
Support pedagogical plan for play based learning
Articulate developmentally based philosophy and play-based curriculum
Support maintenance of partnership with parents via newsletters, meetings and conversations as needed
Prepare presentations for classroom parent meetings and assist with student reports
Co-lead parent-teacher conferences
Attend monthly staff development
Minimum Qualifications
BA degree in Early Childhood Education, or a related field, or coursework relevant to this field
Must meet DOI fingerprinting and all relevant clearances

Experience working with young children between the age of 1-2 years old
Preferred Qualification
Background in the arts, whether visual, musical or dance
Ability to speak a language other than English
