Director of the Teacher Certification Program
Overview: Oversee all aspects of the RI Department of Education-approved post-baccalaureate programs for Secondary Grades certification. Ensure accepted students meet internal and external admissions requirements; monitor student progress (content coursework, education work, and field-based requirements), and work with students to identify any needed supports; provide administrative oversight as they relate to faculty and students (e.g., attend related meetings, recommendation of hiring of course instructors, schedule courses, faculty development, liaise between faculty and students), and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
