To teach part-time for the Department of Teacher Education, Beeghly College of Education.
Teaching opportunities will be based on need each semester. Courses may be available in the following areas: Early Childhood, Middle Childhood, Adolescent/Young Adult, Literacy, Art, Health Education, Music and Physical Education. Responsibilities include teaching course according to approved syllabus, holding weekly office hours, grading all course projects and exams, and submitting final grades on the YSU Banner system.
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments and university officials via university provided tools and resources.
Ability to contribute to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the University community through teaching.

Minimum Qualifications: At least a Master?s degree in education. Minimum of 3 years P-12 teaching experience. Holds a current teaching license. Expertise in one or more content areas. Willingness to teach on-campus, off-campus, distance learning and/or hybrid courses. Ability to work with diverse populations. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications: Terminal degree. College teaching experience. Understanding of the accreditation process. Knowledge of technology used in teaching.
