Position Summary
Provide classroom teaching of students in the area of Chemistry and related courses. Additional responsibilities will include course preparation; reviewing and grading assignments; providing advice to individual students, as requested. Oversee operation of non-major organic chemistry laboratories. Report to the Chemistry chair, work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students associated with MSU’s Organic Chemistry program.

Required Degree
Doctorate -Chemistry
Minimum Requirements
A Ph.D. in chemistry, with emphasis in Organic chemistry and relevant teaching experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding teaching and mentoring skills, strong content knowledge, excellent writing skills, and the ability to work with undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff in a collaborative environment.
