Assistant Dean/Associate Teaching Professor for Teacher Education
Situated on the unceded, ancestral and traditional territory of the dxʷdəwʔabš (Duwamish people), the College of Education at The University of Washington, Seattle, invites applications for an Assistant Dean for Teacher Education. We are looking for someone to lead our Teacher Education Program and unite and support a variety of stakeholders committed to educational justice, including 5 teacher education program directors, instructors of various ranks, and students at multiple degree levels. This person will be situated within multiple university state and national systems and we want our new colleague to assist us in working to push back against and dismantle inequities within these systems and to be a thought partner and leader in reform within them. The positio
