Position Details:
The Teacher Education department at Loyola University Maryland seeks a Visiting Clinical Instructor/Assistant Professor in Teacher Education. This Visiting Clinical Instructor/Assistant Professor will teach four courses or course-equivalents per semester. This may include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in elementary and secondary education and supervising candidates in field experience and internship. Additional duties will include working with the department to complete program-wide continuous improvement related activities including a review of assessments, data analysis, program/curriculum review, and report writing. Other programmatic activities include attendance at meetings the Teacher Education Department and the School of Education; support of special education events and activities, such as student clubs and information sessions. The candidate may have student advising responsibilities and may be asked to represent Loyola at state and school district meetings.
